Badcock's awarded coverted art cred status & accepted for 'The Affordable Art Fair', Battersea 2001

Good news for Badcocks Gallery - not only is the Gallery 3 times bigger, but we now have Art Cred, a scheme operated by South West Arts in which works of art can be bought on an interest free credit basis

"We’re delighted to be able to offer this facility, it makes Art even more accessible, to people who otherwise couldn’t afford it", says Fiona co-director of the gallery.

In all, 38 galleries applied for Art Cred and Badcocks was one of 7 to be accepted.

There was still more good news this week when Mimi and Fiona heard that Badcocks Gallery has been accepted to exhibit at ‘ The Affordable Art Fair’ Battersea 2001.This news was particularly good as the event is hugely over subscribed. Forty new galleries applied, of them only 2 were accepted, and one was us!

For all the success of the Gallery we’re very conscious that we’re only as good as the work we show. We’re really grateful for the continued support and encouragement from our artist’s. The Fair is in October in Battersea Park.
