Hilary has studied at Gwent College of Higher Education where she gained a degree in Sculpture and has lived in Cornwall for six years. Since the opening of Badcock's Gallery, we have enjoyed seeing Hilary become one of our core artists.

Hilary's work has been hugely successful, those who are familiar with it, will appreciate its constructed artistry, making this a greatly anticipated new body of work.

For this show Hilary has chosen to display purely sculptural pieces; fantastical creatures, beautifully constructed in steel that reveals a sensitivity for the medium, which is rarely achieved. Ally to this sophistication in finishing which breathes life and animation into these 'sudo-prehistoric' hybrids. The viewer cannot help engage with the humour and personality of these characters and conjure a reality in which they once inhabited.
