Fiona was educated at Ruskin School of Fine Art, Oxford and has exhibited at the Museum of Modern Art, Oxford, the Royal Festival Hall, the Barbican Centre and Battersea (Affordable Art Fairs).
‘My recent work experiments with the printmaking technique of silk screening. The medium allows me to superimpose nostalgic images creating complex layers for the eye to decipher.
The frequent use of wallpaper and fabrics demonstrates my fascination with domestic interiors and notions of what constitutes good or bad taste.
Often I find myself more concerned with what is potentially concealed behind the smiles in a photograph than what is supposedly revealed to us’.
