Once again it is our pleasure to welcome Alice Mumford to open our exhibition schedule this year with ‘Summer and Autumn’. Alice’s work was received favorably by collectors last year and her show was a sell out. Last year Alice's work was selected for the NEAC and the Huntington. She has an exhibition in November at the Belgrave Gallery London.
Her continual analysis of painting and the hurdles that arise are met with intelligence and vigor which contributes to the freshness of Alices work . This year, as the title of the exhibition suggests, Alice has concentrated on her palette and the limitations the seasons dictate; the ‘hot’ colours of summer can be seen giving way to the ‘cool’ colours in the autumn paintings.
