Richard Ballinger has been working with Badcocks Gallery since October 2002 when his work was taken to the Affordable Art Fair, London. His pieces created a huge amount of interest consequently this exhibition evolved.
Ballinger’s works are ‘objects’ rather than paintings, structures made from every day mundane objects seen from an engineer’s perspective. Richard sees the beauty of design and construction, empathising the thought process’ involved in invention that all too often are taken for granted. He is a member of Newlyn Society of Artists, his work is upbeat, modern and challenging.
